playARTIST: I love this lady. I want to know who directs her videos they are always so beautiful. So this is On My BackARTIST: Prof.Hit Prof.Hit with some new material. The beat is great I think it’s a remix of Sean Paul featuring Baby Blue ‘Breath’ love that track. Yer so this is a great refix. I like this stuff plus free download here. Again young talent to watch out for. Live Your LifeARTIST: Dazzle featuring Doc4 I really like this collaboration. Dazzle is a great young talent, with big things ahead definitely one to look out for. Doc4 features on the track, I had not heard of him before but his sound is interesting going to look him up. The Wait part 2 Artist: L Marshall featuring Sincere and Sneakbo 2012 Mercury Records Limited This is L Marshall (the guy who featured on Wretch 32’s track “Traktor”). Honestly I thought this guy would disappear after his track with Wretch, but his continued and made a track a few months ago enttiled “The Wait”, now this is part 2. Better and bigger. I love it, the beat it great. It is an awesome collabroration, L Marshall is going far. The Kings SpeechARTIST: G FrSH Another old one, but I finally watched the ‘King’s Speech’ (film), a few days ago, and it remind me of this. I really like this track, I keep having to replay it. G Frsh’s ‘Purgatory’ mixtape is definitely one to download. It’s been nominated for OMA’s ‘Best Mixtape of The Year’ awards. Oh and definitely go and watch the ‘King’s Speech’ (film). When I first saw the trailer, it didn’t look that great, but I watched it and it is really good. Actor Colin Firth is brilliant in the film as well. Every dreamARTIST: Etta Bond A few months old, but I love it. Etta Bond is a talented singer, who has collabrorated with ‘Traktor’ star Wretch 32. I have been listening to more of her stuff recently, and I like what I’ve heard. Well check more of her stuff out. Found her on tumblr as well: http://informalpatient.tumblr.com/ ARTIST: Chiddy Bang Chiddy Bang here with a brand new track. I like this, but of course its not there best work, but this shows them doing something a little different. Find more Chiddy Bang here. The video is fun, upbeat, and funny. It’s a good video, but the track seems to be lacking in that Chiddy Bang oomph. Not saying I don’t like to song, because it is catchy track, it’s just Chiddy is not as good as I’ve heard him previously. I’m still a big Chiddy Bang fan, and excited to hear what they shall produce this year. I think this will do pretty well, and I think a track like this might be what they need to get more publicly known. Chiddy’s voice sounds a little higher pitched? Hmmm.. 96 FUCKRIESARTIST: JME Gosh JME has kick started the year with this track entitled, “96 Fuckeries”. The bars to this are great, this guy definitely knows how to add comedy to Grime. He even adds a little mention of the discrimination shown to him by police officers in London. In the track it says “Frequently I get stopped by the gammon, Coz my whip looks like it should be owned by, Jeremy Clarkson or Richard Hammond”. Some videos on his Youtube channel (check it out) show him being stopped by police on a number of occasions, for simply driving a nice car. Anyway this is a great track by the North London Grime artist. Definitely have a listen to his other songs here HAPPY NEW YEAR PEOPLESSong: On To The Next One Artist: Jay Z featuring Swizz Beats Only the most appropriate song for the New Year. PLUS PLEASE FOLLOW THESE BLOGS (WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED): http://ifeakinroyeje.tumblr.com/ http://sleeping-with-a-crowbar.tumblr.com/ Jah Bless you lovely people Ife x Prodigal Son Artist: Master Shortie Director: Dexter Navy Love Master Shortie. This is his song ‘Prodigal Son’. It’s catchy, and I think the video is great. Master Shortie is a talented artist check him out here.I really like his music, and think its about time is gets proper known. 2012 is hopefully gonna be his year. I’m Back Artist: K Koke Directed, Filmed & Edited ; Marco ‘Bravo’ Andrisani K Koke out of jail, and he’s made this show everyone he’s back. Have a listen, I like it. Dub on the Track Artist: Cher Lloyd featuring Mic Righteous, Dot Rotten and Ghetts Directed by Paris Zarcilla Co-Directed by Daryl Atkins Producer - Licia Conn Well done to Cher Lloyd for making something slightly less annoying than her previous wor… but still it isn’t all that great. The only thing that makes it better is having great British grime artist on the track. Mic Righteous, Ghetts, and Dot Rotten do a great job on this and to be honest they are the only reason I am putting this one out there for you all. The guys are clever because they know doing a track with someone like Cher Lloyd will get them publicity. Martians Vs. GoblinsArtist: The Game featuring Lil’ Wayne and Tyler, The Creator © 2011 Interscope The Game backstage with Tyler, The Creator Yes The Game and Lil’ Wayne have teamed up with Odd Future front man man Tyler Creator. I like the track and its a great collaboration. Lil’ Wayne part in this is minor, but it works well, would have been better to see him make an appearance but oh well. Its great to see Tyler creating songs with “big” artists, and many would argue he ‘owned’ this track. Tyler is moving up and breaking into the mainstream zone, but he is still sticking to his crazy ways despite making tracks with big names. I like how he is sticking to his originality. I’ve heard many comments with people saying that The Game is a copycat for this, well it is evident that Tyler had a massive influence on the track and The Game’s lyrical content, and the video. But for OF this is great, it shows they have an influence on the Hip-Hop scene. I like the video as well, but it seems like so many artist are going with this hospital theme video recently. ChildrenArtist: V V Brown featuring Chiddy Bang. I know I’m a bit late but this is a pretty good track. I haven’t heard from V V Brown in a while so its great to hear from her. And this collaboration with Chiddy Bang is great. This song is fun and catchy, I hope to hear more songs from her.
